retro*sex*galaxy
After years of break and a special reactivation for a tropical tour TC&TCs in Mexico and Miami, Wojtek Kucharczyk is back with his most courageous in terms of sound and stylistically rebellious solo project. Being a direct stimulus for creating The Complainers (the first album THE COMPLAINER ‘sponsored by retro*sex*galaxy’ (2005)) and for a revolution in perceiving humour and the heritage of popular culture by native music lovers, he makes it impossible to stay indifferent for anyone who is looking for THE NEW in music. The first concert after returning to Poland, with new material (as the author emphasises, ‘extremely dance’), accompanies a sound installation which is presented during this year’s SURVIVAL Art Review.

dj Ubunoir
For more than three years in his radio programme he has been consistently exploring  the odd and mocking side of electronic music, making use of such music genres as chiptunes, toy music or breakcore. He has also cooperated with artists from France and Belgium within the ‘This Is Radiocalsh’ project. Acting occasionally as a DJ, he tries to make a bit more dance-oriented selection of sounds from his niche.

Dead Snow Monster
A group brazenly borrowing from the best traditions of garage rock and surf of the 60s, naming as inspirations The Velvet Underground and consciously dissociating from the so-called Polish rock tradition, bring back the faith in the openness of ears and heads of Wrocław youths.

dj Plan
Eclecticism and sensitivity to sound in Plan’s sets has definitely made him one of the best recognisable DJs in Wrocław. In his set prepared especially for Survival, he will present himself not necessarily from the club side of his colourful music personality.

dj QB
One of more interesting DJs in Wrocław, he avoids smooth sounds and popular rhythms. In his sets he brings back the polish and vision to traditional sounds but he can still be intriguing in his precise minimal techno and house realisations.
